On Tuesday, May 27th, we said a final farewell to Bloodthirsty Barbara (Barbara Tommlinson) in Rockport, Maine.
Sunday morning, Grace joined me in taking a walk on the beach. We collected some shells and sea glass and spotted wildlife like a star fish and this sea biscuit.
I also saw a bird footprint. I sized it up to my own and I am pretty confident it was not a chickcharney 🙂
This is a very photo and video heavy post. Consider yourself warned.
Saturday morning started the same as Friday morning. I woke up before the sun and was ready to hit the beach for a walk as soon as there was light. Of course, I took a few more beautiful photos to share. If you’re saying ‘ enough rubbing it in already’, you haven’t seen anything yet. Just wait until tomorrow.
I woke up dark and early Friday morning and hopped out of bed to enjoy the beach. Yes, that means more pictures of the beautiful scenery.
Let me begin with a little history.
In 2007, I was invited to Green Turtle Cay in Abaco, Bahamas to portray Mary Read in her return to the island. In the 1700s Mary, Anne Bonney and Calico Jack Rackham would hide out in Black Sound. So, I was asked to bring her back to the island a few hundred years later for the 4th annual Island Roots Heritage Festival.
